We’re proud to sponsor a friendly disc golf tournament that’s open to engineering students from various universities in Quebec.

About a hundred participants take part in the event held at Parc des Voltigeurs in Drummondville. The tournament provides future engineers with a unique networking opportunity in a fun atmosphere that fosters team spirit and collaboration – key skills in the engineering field.

We love sponsoring this type of initiative because we believe that these kinds of experiences help individuals grow professionally and personally. These events also highlight our dedication to the next generation of engineers.

When our interns have ideas, even those that are off the beaten path, we listen and do everything we can to make them happen!

The Soucy Winter Classic is a perfect example. This project was born out of the enthusiasm of our engineering interns. As part of the Course aux jeux, an annual inter-university event, they proposed that we partner in a hockey tournament between students.

This project, which encourages initiative and collaboration, is set to become a tradition.

At Soucy, we strongly believe that everyone has something to teach us. This conviction is cemented through our exchanges with passionate engineering students such as those who took part in Alérion Supermileage, a project that aims to develop an ultra low emissions vehicle.

Thanks to their drive and ingenuity, the students stood out at an international competition focused on energy efficiency with a vehicle 40 times more efficient than current EV models.

We’re proud to partner with this visionary project that showcases the innovation and audacity of the next generation of experts.

We actively take part in Career Fairs at universities throughout Quebec, in particular in the field of engineering. Our goal is to showcase our company and the myriad internship opportunities for students and career openings for graduates.

It's important for us to show up at these Career Fairs because they allow us to support students as they transition onto the job market while enabling them to understand the challenges and opportunities of their future careers.

These events are also an occasion for students to be in direct contact with our teams. That way, they can find out about the projects they could work on, benefit from invaluable career advice, expand their network of contacts, and explore how their skillsets could make a real difference at Soucy.
