The Soucy Baron subsidiary of Soucy group is equipped with 61 presses and two laboratories in its sophisticated 125,000 square foot facilities. These ISO 9009 and ISO/TS 16949 certified facilities are equipped with injection, compression, transfer and flashless presses.

Soucy Baron also has equipment needed for rubber compounding and cryogenic finishing of parts. A line dedicated to glue spreading on metal inserts ensures the production of rubber-metal parts. In addition, Soucy Baron has developed expertise in the control of noise, vibration and harshness (NVH).

In addition to its facilities in Saint-Jérôme in Canada, Soucy Baron has an ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 certified plant in China, Shanghai Soucy Rubber, where large production capacity is available to you at competitive prices.

Injection

The injection moulding process consists of laminating a specific volume of the mixture injected under the effect of rotation of a screw (shear).

Compression

Compression moulding involves placing a preformed piece of mixture into the cavities of a mould heated by the plates of a press.

Transfer

Transfer moulding process consists of placing a piece of rubber in a heated transfer chamber which, by the effect of compression when the mould is closed, transfers material in the mould cavities.
