Soucy laureat du prix coup de coeur du jury aux prix distinction 2021

On October 25, Soucy was awarded the COUP DE CŒUR DU JURY award at the Prix Distinction 2021 organized by Groupe entreprises en santé. This annual event recognizes the exceptional work of entrepreneurs who take the health and well-being of their employees to heart.

The jury was particularly impressed by our "Ma flexibilité" work/life balance program and by the integration of health and wellness into the roles and responsibilities of our managers and executives. Soucy can also rely on numerous health and wellness ambassadors, which also contributed to our winning the award.

"It's a great source of pride to see our efforts in health and well-being rewarded. In a context of labour shortage, quality of life at work is more important than ever in attracting and retaining personnel," says Jasmin Villeneuve, Chief Operating Officer at Soucy.

As for Lysa Bergeron, Vice President - Talent and Culture, she highlights the initiatives that have been put in place in recent years to offer the best possible employee experience at Soucy: "We have worked hard to lay the foundations for a culture aimed at improving the health and well-being of our employees. To take advantage of the best practices in Quebec, we turned to the Groupe entreprises en santé. We achieved Level 3 qualification in the fall of 2020, and we're continuing to improve."

Over the past three years, we’ve been implementing an organized system aimed at improving the health and well-being of our employees. For instance, we introduced over 20 measures that focus our interventions in the areas of healthy lifestyle habits and psychological health, work-life balance, work environment and management practices. These include our "Ma flexibilité" program, our overall health policy, the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP), an RRSP matching program and the many health and wellness interventions and activities throughout the company.

Health restrictions are being lifted, enabling us to launch new initiatives in the near future to meet our employees' health and wellness needs. One of our goals is to reach more employees in our manufacturing facilities.

A health and wellness culture requires continuous improvement and collaboration between employers and employees. As a company, we are proud to help foster change.
