Agritechnica: showcasing Soucy’s expertise at the international level

For the first time, Soucy was a featured speaker at the Agritechnica 2025 exhibition in Germany. This event marked a significant milestone for our company and cemented our footprint on the world stage.

Leading the delegation: Yves Sauvageau, a technical expert who has been with Soucy for nearly 25 ans. He spoke passionately about our products and shared his know-how in front of the biggest players in the agricultural industry.

Agritechnica is the world’s leading trade fair dedicated to agriculture and agricultural machinery. 2,849 exhibitors from 52 countries and more than 476,000 visitors from 171 countries made the event an outstanding international industry meeting place. And this year, Soucy was more visible than ever.

We’ve been taking part in Agritechnica since 2013 to keep an eye on market trends, identify emerging innovations, and ensure our developments are aligned with the industry’s needs. But our approach was different this year. It was time to shed light on our own expertise.

Yves Sauvageau has earned an outstanding reputation for his technical leadership, involvement in major projects, and commanding stage presence. He was therefore the natural choice to represent Soucy during the event.

Thanks to a real-world case study, he showed how Soucy analyzes and optimizes every component in track systems, including sprockets, rubber compounds, and wheels to reduce energy loss. The goal is to mitigate limitations associated with track systems, specifically higher energy requirements in comparison to tires, while maintaining the key benefits of superior flotation and traction.

The talk garnered a lot of interest, with numerous manufacturers following up with Yves about his presentation. In short, it led to in-depth conversations and potential business opportunities. Tangible benefits that will ultimately translate into positive effects on end users.

“At Soucy, we are very humble. We don’t like tooting our own horn very much, even though objectively we excel at what we do,” said Yves. But the facts speak for themselves. We’ve successfully become one of the biggest manufacturers in Quebec as well as an international leader. This event was a perfect reminder that sometimes, it’s worth shouting your success stories.
