WHAT TO EXPECT

Under the supervision of the Team Leader - Analysis and Programming, the EDI Support Specialist is responsible for the proper functioning of commercial transactions exchanged via electronic channels. He/she must quickly identify problems and provide excellent customer service (internal), within tight deadlines.

Here's an overview of your tasks:

  • Ensure daily monitoring, auditing and analysis of data exchanges between the different systems: VAN/EDI Solution/ERP
  • Manage incidents reported by users (Customer Service, Our Customers, Shipping, Finance), investigate and resolve them
  • Work closely with its users to acquire a thorough knowledge of the processes and ensure the quality of data exchanges
  • Keep system documentation up to date
  • Maintain up-to-date user documentation and training videos     
  • Coordinate with the EDI solution provider (iCARAS software) on change requests from our customers (EDI and internal customers)    
  • Support/contribute to improving EDI / ERP interfaces and processes (order tracking, shipping, invoicing)
  • Be responsible for new integrations and system upgrades (testing, deployments, training)
  • Administer user accounts on other sites/customer portals

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR  

  • Bachelor's degree or DEC in business informatics (or in administration)
  • ± 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Good communication skills (spoken and written) in French and English
  • Great ability to work in a team and to interact with people
  • Good analytical skills and ability to solve operational problems (systems and data) 
  • Knowledge of EDI concepts and standards (Asset if not essential in this position)
  • Knowledge of Excel    
  • Knowledge of SQL, C# (asset)
  • Knowledge of iCARAS software (asset)
  • Knowledge of the Office 365 suite (asset)
