The Soucy group Inaugurates new headquarters & new facilities 

Drummondville (Canada), August 22, 2014 -The Soucy group and its subsidiary, Soucy International inc., , inaugurate today their new facilities located at 5450 St-Roch St. in Drummondville. Comprised of over 50 offices, several conference rooms, an industrial design studio, a technical workshop for the agricultural sector as well as a reception area and showroom, this expansion represents the successand ambition of the Drummondville-based company.Track Systems, Parts and Accessories Division

“Due to the success we have seen over the past few years and our continuing growth potential, it became imperative to enlarge our offices and modernize our work environment in order to offer our employees the chance to flourish incontemporary and motivating surroundings”, stated Eric Côté, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Soucy group.

Itshould be noted that this building is one of the first acquired by Mr. Gilles Soucy in 1978 and is home to the company’s head offices as well as to the sales team, industrial design centre and engineering departments.

“This expansion project, particularly the conference rooms and showroom, took into consideration our desire to greet customers in a stimulating environment favourable to business development”, added André Todd, General Manager of Soucy International inc. “From industrial design to the workshop, everything was thought of to boost interactions among our various sales and product development teams.”

Over the past several years, Soucy International has put a lot of emphasis on the industrial design aspect of product development. Driven by innovation and creativity, the industrial design team now boasts a brand new work environment. Regrouping all phases of industrial design, from sketches to prototypes and mock-ups, the new design studio has doubled in size and now offers the 7 team members a space that promotes creativity.

Technical workshop (agricultural sector)

Given the success of its agricultural track systems series, Soucy Track, it became imperative to enlarge the agricultural workshop. Whether it be track-system installation, 3D modeling, test-bench installation or prototype analysis, the agricultural workshop is a development nerve centre for Soucy Track.

This announcement occurs concurrently with the 75th birthday celebrations of the Soucy Group founder, Mr. Gilles Soucy. For the occasion, clients from around the world are welcomed to the new facilities to high light their partnership.

More than 300 people are employed by Soucy International inc., while the Soucy group head office employs another 20+ employees. The facilities expansion work began in August 2012.
