Soucy Baron increases its production capacity
Saint-Jérôme, Québec (Canada), September 5th, 2014 – Soucy BARON, a subsidiary of the Soucy group has just acquired multiple quantities of ‘state of the art’ DESMA 250 Ton injection presses for complex rubber parts. This $600,000 investment coupled with the recent (2012) $1.2 M investment at the Saint-Jérôme factory confirms the company’s commitment to continue supporting its constant growth in the northern region and ensure its longevity for years to come. Over the past 5 years, Soucy Baron has increased its revenues by 40%. Approximately ten new jobs will be created in February 2015 once the presses are all installed.
These additional presses will contribute to the production of the newly awarded contracts and also add free available capacity for future business to be won.
